flower “bib” necklace

It pains me to call these “bib” necklaces because as a mother I have washed and soaked and thrown away in disgust so many actual bibs, but really there isn’t any other name for them!  The rosettes continue to feature in this design, and while this idea is by no means original, it has been fun to create my own colour combinations and layouts. Oooh and use my very first hot glue gun – seriously, where has it been my whole life! Only one very minor burn later I am completely converted. Expect to see many more projects using one!

What I really love about these necklaces is that  you can be wearing the most plain outfit of jeans and a tee but then by putting one of these on instantly your outfit is original. I also love that depending on the colour top or dress you have on it completely changes the look of the necklace. Imagine the last colourful one not on a white tee as pictured, but  rather on a simple black dress – very striking!

All three will be available for sale in my etsy store later in the week (plus hopefully some more new ones), but feel free to jump over there now to see what else is in stock. Oh! and don’t forget to tell your friends and “like” Joyess Threads and Design on Facebook.
